The Life Street senior team leads program strategy and innovation, client partnerships and engagement and clinical and operational governance. Being psychologist owned and led, means that the relevant professional expertise and standards underpin everything we do.

Paul Flanagan

FOUNDER + CEO Paul is leading change in the EAP industry, having had 30 years of experience building one of the largest and most respected EAPs in Asia-Pacific. He is a founder and past President of the Employee Assistance Association and has served on the Board of the Australian Psychological Society for the past three years. Paul’s passion to improve employee mental health and wellbeing is based on his extensive clinical and organizational experience guiding employers in managing employee mental health and supporting psychological wellbeing. Paul is a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and an Honours degree (First Class) in Psychology. Life Street’s unique approach is based on Paul’s vision and our leadership team’s experience and commitment to making a real impact across the employee population.

Gail Laffer

HEAD OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE + PROGRAMS Gail is an accomplished senior leader with over 20 years’ experience in EAPs globally and in Australia. Gail has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Chicago and has held senior positions focused on program and product development, strategic account management and managing teams. On board from day one at Life Street, Gail’s ÉAP tenure along with her unique blend of clinical and consulting experience has allowed her to engage with stakeholders, both internal and external. Her knowledge of HR/L&D/Clinical practices further complements her and her team’s ability to deliver exceptional results for Life Street’s clients, while contributing to Life Street’s program and technology development.

Julie Sim

HEAD OF CLINICAL SERVICES Over 30 years of clinical experience in clinical and counselling psychology, as well as a strong background in business and management, Julie is a skilled practitioner supporting her clients, coaching managers and providing supervision to the clinical team internally at Life Street. Julie is a Registered Psychologist, has an MBA, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, is a member of the Psychologists’ Panel of Assessors for the Queensland Government, is a Non-Executive Director for Relationships Australia and has lectured at post-graduate level. Julie is experienced in a range of psychological frameworks, including CBT, neuropsychological psychotherapy, systems-based models for couples and solution-focused brief therapy. Additionally, she is experienced trauma practitioner with a focus on critical incident management, psychological first aid, disaster recovery, and resilience-building.

Dimity Stevens

HEAD OF OPERATIONS Dimity Stevens is a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Dimity is an experienced EAP Program Manager who has worked both internally in organisations as a stakeholder and externally as a provider. This experience, coupled with her safety and nursing background, gives her a deep understanding of employee and employer needs and ensures that her team meets these needs. As a previous owner of her own SME, Dimity understands the ins and outs of project management, customer engagement, operations and process, and program integration. Dimity holds a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, an Advanced Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing, and a General Nursing Certificate as a Registered Nurse.

Kerry Wallace

HEAD OF DIGITAL CONTENT Digital Engagement is a key ingredient in the Life Street experience. With over 11 years of business operations experience, coupled with a deep understanding of Life Street Digital footprint, Kerry is responsible for creating and managing digital content that hits the mark. Kerry is proficient in using various design and content creation platforms, as well as systems development and management, data management, analytical reporting, and information technology. Her strong mindset of service excellence, innovative thinking, and advocacy brings a creative, energetic, and professional touch to her work. Kerry holds a Diploma of Business Management, as well as Diplomas in Design, and UX.

Solomon Sarkar

HEAD OF TECHNOLOGY Solomon Sarkar is a highly skilled Head of Technology with a passion for learning and innovation. Solomon has over 12 years of IT experience in application system design and development. Leading the Life Street Technology team, Solomon has a strong understanding of Design Patterns & Enterprise, ensuring Life Street digital meets the needs of all those who engage with it. Solomon has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Information Technology and holds several certifications, including Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC), RPA Developer Foundation Diploma, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and is continuously learning new technologies such as AIML, Chatbot, and RPA.
